I want to start helping out making some of the meals for our family of four, because in a couple months I'm gonna be making all my own food. So if you could just tell me some of your favorite recipes or send me links to some awesome recipes that'd be great. Preferably anything easy and I love beef, especially ground beef, but I'm really open to anything. And I do want some recipes that take some time and effort but taste amazing. So just send me whatever. Just no walnuts or pecans, my mom's allergic to those.Have any good dinner recipes you can share?

Chicken Cordon Bleu - also very delicious
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
6 slices Swiss cheese

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon paprika
6 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules

Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and cook the chicken until browned on all sides. Add the wine and bouillon. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

Here's one I like.
Meatballs
1 lb. ground beef
1 can french onion soup mixed with 1/2 soup can water
1/3 C cracker or bread crumbs
1 T minced onion (the dried kind)
1 T parsley
1 egg
Mix the ground beef with 1/4 C of the soup mixture and the rest of the ingredients. Make into meatballs and brown. Pour rest of soup mixture over and cover and simmer about 25 minutes. You can then either cook noodles in the broth (you have to add more liquid) or thicken the broth for gravy to put on mashed potatoes.
As long as everyone in the family is a meat eater, you can't go wrong with roast chicken, and there are loads of recipes on the internet. Start at foodnetwork.com, but don't limit yourself. If there is leftover chicken, you can have a second meal from the leftovers. There are lots of soup and casserole possiblilities.

This is an arabic recipe and its AMAZING!
Its called upside down.
Here goes:
Minced Beef - 400 grams
Onion 1 large
Garlic- 2 cloves
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
Beef stock or Vegetable stock
Olive oil
Rice
2 large Eggplants
So peel the Eggplants then slice in circle Shapes, fry until cooked, set aside on paper towel to soak the Oil.
Then chop onion and fry in different skillet until Golden and soft.
Add the minced beef to onion, season with salt pepper nutmeg and crush 2 cloves of garlic on it.
Once cooked, layer the fried eggplant on top of the minces (no need to turn off the fire)
Add (depending on quantity of minced and eggplant) 1.5 cups or 2 cups of rice on top of the minced and the Eggplant
Add boiled water to layered minced, eggplant and rice.
If you put 1.5 cups of rice, add 3 cups of water.
If you put 2 cups of rice add 4 cups of water.
Melt stock cube in one of the cups of the boiling water.
If the Water does not cover the food just a little above the food, add so it does.
Cook with closed lid until water disappears 30 mins or more.
Don't open the lid at all.
Check after 30 minutes, if water is still there don't freak out :)
Just close the lid again until water is completely gone.
Once water dissapears you let it set and cool down.
Then you can flip the pot on a tray, it will be like a cake, Thats why its called upside down :)
Sometimes falls apart so you dont have to do it :)
If your not a big fan of eggplants, you can put coliflower instead with the same exact procedure.
A medium sized coliflower should be enough
This goes amazingly with this:
Yogurt mixed with chopped cucumbers, 1 small clove of garlic and salt.
ENJOY!!!
