What are some good dinner recipes for Valentine's Day?

I would like to cook a nice meal for my fiance for Valentine's Day. I am vegetarian but he loves his meat, so something I can cook that I could substitute out the meat would be awesome.

I have already picked out a few dessert recipes but feel free to include any if you'd like.

Thanks. :DWhat are some good dinner recipes for Valentine's Day?
A pasta dish might be the answer. Here's one that you could add grilled chicken to for your fiance. I added a fun dessert recipes too. Cheese fondue might be a fun and romatic appetizer!

The egg Plant sounds great!

My tried and true favorite is definitely a pleas-er; Meat Loaf, Brown gravy, Red potatoes and Asparagus. It's sweet and sincere. It makes great sandwiches the next day, too.

For the Meat Loaf, I use any kind of lean ground meat, blended with sausage, veal, turkey...etc...whatever your preference, but the sausage makes it especially tasty. (THERE ARE MEAT SUBSTITUTES THAT WORK WELL ALSO) I have also substituted. Look into some of your local Vegan restaurants.

total for meat is one pound to one and a quarter. then blend in 1 egg, onions, peppers, green olives, worcestershire sauce, and Stove-Top stuffing corn bread and package. Put in loaf pan and bake at 400 for about 45 min, or depending on how crispy you want the edges. Do not add any salt or pepper, it's already in the Stove-Top Stuffing mix.

For the potatoes you can cut in half lengthwise and score the insides with a knife and butter them or olive oil, and top with dill or any other spices you prefer. Bake at 400 for 1 hour, depending on how many you are making. Or you can simply make cheesy/sour cream mashed potatoes with chives, and a dash of spicy mustard, like Dijon.
Pasta is a good thing to make when you need to feed a vegetarian and someone who eats meat. Cook some fettuccine noodles with a little olive oil and sea salt in the water. Put them in serving bowl. Make a rich meat sauce and either an Alfredo sauce or a marinara sauce separately. Then put the two sauces in two different bowls. Serve this with sourdough bread, salad, and fresh Parmesan cheese.
Why not make dinner together? My husband and I love to make pizzas together. You can buy pre-made crusts or pizza dough at your local supermarket (specialty markets have gourmets doughs and not just the pilsbury type).

You can get a bunch of cool toppings like Goat Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers, Pineapple, and maybe even veggie sausage...then may several mini pizzas together.

Oh and dont forget the wine!
Try laying nude on the table and making sushi, put the sushi in your body and when your fiance comes in you will surprise him. I saw it in sex and the city lol. That was the only part of the movie I liked.
I am the same way. but my now husband just loves eggplant parmesan. Good Luck.
